Service Terms & Policies

These terms keep service clear, safe, and fair. By booking, approving a quote, or authorizing work to begin, the customer agrees to these terms.

Services

Trash Pick-Up

Single trash pick-up for a standard-size bin or small haul-off request. Large items, tires, batteries, and similar add-ons must be selected at booking.

Not included: Does not include additional bulky items unless selected, unsafe items, or prohibited materials. See Unsafe and Prohibited Materials.

Trailer Load

One trailer load of bagged, boxed, or ready-to-load items placed in an accessible area.

Not included: Does not include extra trailer loads, unsafe items, or prohibited materials unless separately approved. See Unsafe and Prohibited Materials.

Property Clearout

Base property clearout covers common areas. Bedrooms are not included in the base price and are billed per bedroom selected at booking.

Hoarder Clearout

Heavy-condition clearout with higher per-bedroom pricing, protective equipment when selected, and added disposal when required.

Not included: Does not include regulated cleanup, unsafe items, or prohibited materials requiring a qualified provider. See Unsafe and Prohibited Materials.

Turnover Cleaning

Two-hour base clean for common areas with vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and basic surface wipe-downs. Bedrooms and bathrooms are added per room at booking.

Not included: Does not include junk removal, repairs, restoration, carpet extraction, appliance deep cleaning, pest treatment, or guaranteed stain and odor removal.

Make-Ready Cleaning

Single-day make-ready clean for common areas with floors, dusting, cabinet faces, counters, fixtures, and basic appliance exterior cleaning. Bedrooms and bathrooms are added per room at booking.

Not included: Does not include junk removal, repairs, painting, carpet extraction, mold remediation, or inspection guarantees unless specifically approved.

The Works

Deepest cleaning tier for really dirty spaces, including heavier scrubbing, appliance cleaning, carpet spot attention, detailed dusting, and more intensive floor and surface cleaning. Bedrooms and bathrooms are added per room at booking.

Not included: Does not include junk removal, repairs, restoration, regulated cleanup, or guaranteed third-party outcomes.

The Works

Legal Agreement

  • The customer confirms they own the property or have legal authority to request the work.
  • The customer authorizes Jolly Junk Co. to remove, clean, haul, donate, recycle, or dispose of approved items.
  • The customer is responsible for identifying items that must stay before work begins.
  • Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or waived.

Pricing and Payment

  • Website bookings require upfront payment for the selected services and add-ons.
  • Online totals are based on the selections submitted by the customer.
  • Final price may increase if the job is materially different from the request or requires added labor, disposal, rooms, trailer loads, or approved add-ons.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, payments are final and non-refundable once submitted.
  • Approved additional charges must be paid before or at completion of the added work.

Unsafe and Prohibited Materials

Service may be refused, paused, or referred to a qualified provider when unsafe, illegal, regulated, or undisclosed materials are present.

  • Medical waste
  • Needles or sharps
  • Mold or suspected asbestos
  • Hazardous waste
  • Illegal substances
  • Structural hazards
  • Active infestations
  • Regulated or unsafe materials requiring a licensed provider

Access and Property Condition

  • The customer must provide safe, lawful access to the work area.
  • Children, pets, occupants, and visitors should stay outside the active work area.
  • Known hazards, access limits, or fragile areas must be disclosed before work begins.
  • Jolly Junk Co. is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or unstable property conditions.

Removed Items

  • Approved items may be disposed of, recycled, donated, or transferred once removed.
  • Removed items may not be recoverable after leaving the property.
  • Valuables, documents, medication, cash, jewelry, electronics, collectibles, and sentimental items should be removed before service.
  • Items hidden inside bags, boxes, furniture, drawers, cabinets, or containers are the customer's responsibility unless disclosed before removal.

Cancellations and Service Changes

  • Cancellations, missed access, or customer-requested schedule changes do not create a refund obligation.
  • Jolly Junk Co. may approve rescheduling at its discretion when reasonable notice is provided.
  • Completed labor, approved work, booking payments, and disposal costs are non-refundable.

Service Concerns

  • Concerns should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible with photos and a clear description when available.
  • Jolly Junk Co. must have a reasonable opportunity to inspect and respond.
  • When appropriate, Jolly Junk Co. may correct unfinished work or offer another reasonable service remedy.
